watch the replay, the front view one, and you can clearly see he uses his elbows to have a little crawl. He only gained about 10 or 20 cm with it but it was a double movement nonetheless. And a sin binning for tramping a player is quite in line punishment IMO ..... as if the BB's aren't known for being dirty players

Nope actually Lions. His decisions compromised the Bulls too... He left every vital call to either the TMO or his touch judges and they were atrocious too but please tell me why Derrick was sin binned? Please tell me why Danie's try was disallowed? Where was the double movement? He was tackled short of the line, he didn't try get up, he stretched out and placed the ball on the trie line. Perfectly legitimate trie yes?

No! He clearly crawled a little(but then it does not matter at all how far you crawl, you can't!). Please do not believe everything Joel says... he clearly has some issues with the Sharks now that he is no longer part of the set up.

None of us can comment on what Kuun did as the cameras did not pick it up but why exactly would the "assistant" referee make something up? They sure did spend the rest of the match making it up to the Bulls though.

Funny how we can all immediately think of the decisions that compromised the Sharks but besides your querying of Danie's try (which was crawling) and Kuun (which cost the Bulls nothing anyway) we can't think of too many others, can we?

Mooi so Bulle!! Against all the odds - clueless ref, more clueless line judges and utterly clueless TMO you still took the win. Though you came close of being robbed of a bonus point. And as for the sardines - they were woeful (nearly as bad as the ref).

Yeah that's probably because the sharks didn't do much other than defend the entire evening. There weren't any decisions that compromised the sharks in scoring situations cause they weren't in any scoring situations. Oh sorry they did score a trie! Yes that's right 4 tries to 1... mmm close game....

So the ref, touch judges and tmo have it in for the sharks as does Joel Stransky. What about Andy? He also showing bias??!!! Anyone else??!!! Perhaps the crowd was a bit to partisan??!!

A complete joke is the only way to describe the officials in this match ......... from the TMO (where the fsck did they dig him out from, he knows sh*t), to the TJ's. Fscking disgusting man.

I hear you man, who was the TMO in this match!?

The only decision that compromised the sharks was the decision made by the coach that he could arrive at Loftus with this half baked excuse of a team and expect to be competitive. You clowns should have stayed home, taken a bye, forfeited the point and spent more time working on your defensive patterns...

Welcome but just to translate for you the thread title is "Haaie Ondersteuners Draad 2008" :)

If you look elsewhere you may stumble across a Bulls one... not likely though as they seem a bit scarce after this years Super 14 performances... :)

I'm sorry, I was there, the sharks lost that game completely. Even if their obviously near sighted supporters screams at the ref (which punished the bulls way more than the sharks, and with every bulls try needed a TMO decision).

They were outplayed in every area, Stefan tried he's best but one in 15 cannot save, when Jannie came on, they did start defending again, but it was futile.

Actually they did not deserve that win against WP a couple of weeks back, and with pure luck slided on that one.

Bulls you beauties, thank you for rescuing a day that started dismally

Taking into consideration that we're missing some big names, are trying to blood youngsters and have a new coach ....... I am p*ssed with that game. Plumtree seems, in these early days (and I hope I'm wrong), to be of the same mould as Putt  Some of his decisions boggle the mind .... and with that, here is who I reckon should stay or go -

15. Stefan Terblanche - just someone tell him to not fscking kick so much.
14. Monty Dumond - still 50-50 with this chap.
13. Waylon Murray - needs to regain his style (maybe tis the coach eh).
12. Andries Strauss - send this clown far far away ..... now
11. Henno Mentz - still respect him.
10. Brad Barritt - such a pity he was pulled with injury ... missed.
09. Scott Mathie - how he started ahead of McLeod I don't know ...
08. Keegan Daniel - one of the stars ... respect.
07. Nic Strauss - go back to club rugby bru, you need more practice.
06. Jacques Botes - quieter than usual but deserves his place.
05. Johann Muller ( Capt ) - snap outta your slump bru ... you're needed.
04. Albert van den Berg - always plays well.
03. BJ Botha - why he is here and not with the Boks I dunno ... star player.
02. Skipper Badenhorst - eish, surely we have better choices
01. Deon Carstens - another star in the front row.

16. Craig Burden - coming along nicely as a hooker ... stick with him.
17. Jannie du Plessis - nice aggressive front rower.
18. Alistair Hargreaves - needs more game time ... maybe a mentor.
19. Skholiwe Ndlovu - has sort of impressed so far.
20. Charl McLeod - should have started as scrummie.
21. Riaan Swanepoel - too little seen to pass judgement.
22. Chris Jordaan - same as above.

How many players have the Bulls lost to the Springboks? :)

And I do not mean the ones who are playing internationally now!

Mephisto this applies to the hooker position for the Sharks too... we have lost John Smit and Bismarck there. Also scrumhalf we have lost Ruan, Kockett injured so we are onto third choice... Flyhalf, Butch and Frans gone. Barrit injured just before kick off....

The Bulls guys can jump and celebrate as much as they want but they effectively played our Wildebeest team! :)

EDIT : By the way I thought Swanepoel looked good. Strong and full of running.

No, I know but certain decisions were dodge (Mathie instead of McLeod and Badenhorst instead of Burden for example). I agree with how fervently the BB's think they have got one over us Sharks ..... which isn't really a Sharks team yet :D Wait til later in the tourney you Blue Balls, I mean Bulls ;)

Yeah I'm surprised Burden didn't start yesterday. He looks a real talent, strong, aggressive, straight running and abrasive. Mephisto's player critic is pretty accurate... Sums it up nicely. I think losing a player as pivotal as your flyhalf only hours before quick off is always going to be a massive set back.

Lol, im going to ressist trolling :p

Lol, ok well if the Bulls had all their players back from the boks and injury they would also be A LOT stronger.....The Bulls were the better team yesterday, if you dont believe me look at the score board.

To say "but" and "if only" is so pathetic.... you lost get over it.

The Bulls still need to play in KZN so maybe you can then up your game and thrash us....

Oh, what a chicken! You are already putting your safety net in place! Pathetic!

:)

Or maybe, just maybe, he's commenting on home ground advantage and not blindly predicting what will happen without taking the variables into account :D

:)

I'm actually inclined to agree, the Blue Bulls will have a tough time in KZN...
