Shaving: Electric or Razor?

I use a Schick razor, I prefer them to the Gillette ones. Even though I only have a moustache and hair on my chin, it's quite hectic I have to shave every 2 days, but I have quite a bit of stubble after only 1 day.
 
I shave on a daily basis with my Gilette Fusion power, my Mach 3 I could only use every 2n'd day and that means stubble all the way.

Me too. Also I am too scared to use an electric one. The thought of a cutting machine so close to my neck and skin ... eina. Besides the manual blades do an amazing job.
 
I use disposable shavers... I do have an electric shaver, but it's unable to cut my hair now :(.
However, I should shave everyday to avoid the sight of man-growth (yep, I'm 19 and got the beard thing worked out :(, sigh). but I usually just leave my beard for a week then shave for the weekend (gf likes me clean shaven :p).

1. Shaving Heads (they easy to buy from a dealer)
2. If battery fails to charge you need to buy a new one if it isnt under warranty (but I've had mine for years and never had that problem so its rare)
3. You have to clean the shaving head everyday or second day (depending on how much hair you got and how much you shave)
4. Never use on long beard hairs it hurts :P (prefably a short beard you don't want to grow longer or for keeping the face free of hair forever)

Razor blades are expensive so I just use a normal safety razor with minora blades like your grandfather did, even disposables do the job.

PONDER! Awesome man. I've never tried one of these - I was one of the suckers who just assumed they were cheap for good reason. Turns out they are fantastic. I can't believe i've been duped into buying the expensive things. Safety razor FTW
 
Have been on electric for the past year or so, and haven't looked back, convenient and don't need shaving cream/gel/whatever. However, do put Nivea Q10 Aftershave balm stuff on afterwards, as my skin tends to be a bit dry afterwards.

Was using a Gillette Fusion Power before that, and various other Gillette products before that one. Have kept the Fusion as a backup, but haven't needed it as yet.

I also shave my head - otherwise the landing strip gives my age away :D
 
I switched to electric a couple years back. Got myself a Panasonic ES8249K Arc IV Nano Vortex Wet/Dry Rechargeable Shaving System and use shaving cream from the Body Shop (not necessary but I like it). Smoothest shave ever. One charge lasts two weeks. It can be used in the shower. It is not available in local stores but can be ordered from wantitall and take2.

The Braun is also a good shaver (available at Dischem).
 
I use electric for day to day, and cheap-ass 5 for R25 type Schicks normal razors when I let it go for a few days.

My friends let me give you men a money saving time of note. Forgo all your shaving creams, gels, and balms! Use a nice shampoo. It works amazingly well! It softens your beard or stubble and acts like a really nice gel. I haven't had any side effects to date, and I've been doing this for years. If you must know I use Organics, but I am sure that any nice shampoo will do wonders and leave you smelling fresh to boot. :D Make sure to first soften your beard with warm water in the shower before applying the shampoo. It takes some experience to find the ultimate combination of lather and shampoo.
