I must admit I have never seen soldiers eating Streetwise 2s at KFC. I assume you must have been there too to witness this?

I still don't know what you would expect the army to do about a few people firing guns into the air. You clearly watch too many movies.

The zoo has opened its gates and merged with the circus, presenting us with wild animal clowns with no control.

I've never seen that. Never even seen a military vehicle stop at one of the places along the freeway to buy food.

Any officer from JMPD or SAPS who was in the area, and didn't identify and arrest the perpetrators should be disciplined really...

Granted i know that it will never happen, but residents in the area must put pressure on Law Enforcement to enforce the laws ffs.

JUST IN: SAPS confirm live ammunition used as taxi drivers fire shots into the air

Cleveland SAPS station commander Col Mpe Lobisi Motaung said members of an unknown taxi association gathered at the corner of Cumberland and Allum streets this afternoon and fired live ammunition into the ground and air.

The area is still cordoned off. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes through the area.

“It is linked to Sunday’s incident. They were out today to ‘collect the spirits of the deceased’.

“JMPD escorted them. We are not sure who authorised the escorting,” said Motaung.

Chief Supt Wayne Minnaar spokesperson for JMPD commented that he is not aware of the incident or the escorting of taxi drivers.

Nice. If the head of JMPD says he was not aware then we can only assume that there were metro officers doing their own thing. Now we know who really runs the streets.
