angola has already overtaken nigeria as primary african oil producer.
nigeria seems to be doing a pretty good job of shooting themselves in the foot as is.

You can basically draw and oval From central africa, to malaysia, all the way back through the south of russia. Almost all of the conflicts there are religion-related, with Islam as a participant.
Islam really needs to relook at how they play with others. They are acting like the catholic church did in the middle ages.

This is true... South Africa needs to start making moves into the rest of Sub Saharan Africa, so we reap the benefits and offer them technology and infrastructure...
In any case, there's such a large population in Nigeria that their economy has to be buoyant with what ever is being spent there

You are very naive if you think that there won't be conflict in the world if there wasn't religion or superstition. Scarcity of resources will make conflict inevitable. And human nature being what it is, there will be someone who finds a way to exert power and influence over people to get what they what.
