I think Yes! For two reasons,

As a store that is situated just over the Northern Cape border in Namibia, we get to do a roaring trade with lorry drivers and people that like paddling across rivers in the middle of the night,

AND

I enjoy sipping a nice cold one whilst braaing with my mates on the Namibian bank of the Orange river and stare back at Alexander Bay in South Africa and look on in amazement at how desolate the town looks.....

;) ;)
Arent there crocs in those rivers?
Or are those only further up in the Rundu/Ongwediva areas?
I really need to explore the south of Namibia.

Just treat us like adults and leave it to the general population to do as they see fit. Educate all of us as too why large gatherings etc. is bad for the spread of the virus.

No, I see there is still many paranoid people voting yes. I have to wonder if they are the same ones voting for ANC.

3rd wave is happening even in countries with strict lockdowns and high percentage of compliance to prevention.
So true, these lockdowns are for another purpose!
This is not the platform to discuss "conspiracy theories" as they are called, even with overwhelming evidence.

You dont get crocs in west flowing rivers ( to the Atlantic)in Africa, it's actually ironic you posted this as my partner informed me that he was talking to a chap that wanted to open a croc farm in our hood.....

If that was a viable option we wouldn't need any laws.
Take traffic laws, for example. Speed limits, drinking limits etc.
There are no adults, there are only big children who will rationalise their own behaviour in any given situation.

You know you don't need uncle Cyril and madam to tell you to stay at home. You can voluntarily ruin your own Easter weekend and do nothing.

There are a bunch of Karen's on here who want the nanny state to punish all those of us who aren't scared of a <1% fatal virus.

People saying yes have had their brains captured by the farce that is CORONA. Literally less deaths annually than the common cold, 5 years down the line are you still going to accept lockdown? WAKE UP PEOPLE. PS Masks DONT WORK. Locally they tested ALL the available masks - and NONE of them were found to prevent transmission of a virus.
Liar

One of the reasons why it's pointless.
Curfew and limited Alcohol sales over that weekend ? I don't think that will be pointless.

It will ease pressure on the hospitals and other essential resources.
Third wave will hit anyway but this should slow things down a bit.

We should implement those 24/7/365 if that's your reasoning
