Should these people leave SA?

My policy will be this: Hurt me, or someone in my family, I will find you, I will kill you, and I will bury you somewhere no one will find you... after that, the cops will be their usual useful selfs, and not find me.

Ah, but how would you find the criminals?
 
I read the story too and i felt angry at what happened. one thing i must say i was encouraged by the optimism shown by the raped girl to go foward and sit for her exams. i wish i was the president and show our leaders what human rights is, by protecting law abiding citizens and deal harsh with criminals.

Its actually quite easy... if you know the area you're in, take Louis Trichardt up north, you go to the nearest location, ask around (<-- how you ask is questionable). Eventually you'll get what you want.

These animals are proud of their crime's, and usually boast about it at shebeen's etc.

The only reason the cops don't find them is because they don't care, they're there to get paid at the end of the month, thats it, they're not there to work. Its the same in virtually every industry in the country atm. <- before someone who thinks the country is in a perfect condition comes along and states the obvious, yes... this is a generalization, but its an accurate one. Get over it.
 
If I were the Paterson family I would be making plans to leave SA. Putting on a brave face is great but what if it happens again?

The ANC are to blame for the state of SA today and it's only goint to get worse.

And they want us to not be racists, they can go f*** themselves, if i see a group of black men in my house i WILL kill them before they have a chance to do anything, if that means i have to rot in jail to save my family, so be it.

Definitely going to leave SA once I've completed my under-graduate degree :) [I'm being "sponsored" (thanks Dad!) my post-grad degree overseas...preferably the UK]
 
A question I have is why is there such a determined effort by the criminals to dehumanize white people?

Here we have another example of a slowly brewing genocide in the making against white people in SA. Once you dehumanize a person they are easy to plunder, rape and kill.

There are examples of genocide all over the world in every century that man has learned to kill his neighbour.

I do not think it is a issue about whites or blacks. It is more about rich and poor. I do not know if you guys know about how many people are killed on Cape Flats or Townships. House breakings in Rondebosch equal to murders in Langa.Do not always keep saying you want to leave the country, but stand up to fight against crime. There are many people doing the right thing, why not you?
 
Go that's the only realistic option. Things here will not get better in a hurry.

I will be gone as soon as it's financially possible. People can call us who left/ want to leave cowards if they want but I rather be a living coward than a dead brave heart.
