MIUI 12.5 is a lot better than previous renditions. I like the Android style notifications with black and white icons and the new app drawer.

Keeping it stock with a wallpaper I shot using the phone camera.

I switched from my Huawei P20 to Samsung S20FE because #china #nogoogle. Hate this phone. Huawei was faster, smoother, better battery. Even though it's 3 yrs old

Now that you mention Samsung, I got a J5 Prime from a friend for free some time ago. It reminded me why I hate Samsung so much, yet while I was sorting out issues on my new Redmi Note 9T I used the Samsung as my daily, and it was actually remarkably good for such an old phone with only 2GB of RAM.


So for being such a dependable phone it was rewarded with a new glass screen protector and protective case - can't believe they still sold those. The blister pack that the case came in was yellowed and full of dust
