My NEX is China version, but have full google play services.. plenty of other things that is a bit crappy, like you can set default browser to Chrome, but for some reason it still opens up in stock browser. Some things like voice assistant is chinese, but can still use google assistant as well..

My Nokia 8 actually had a botched EU version on it that could not get updates. I had to jump through many hoops to get the stock China one on it - then it was OK after using APKpure to get the Gapps.

The phone from that last screenshot was horribly Chinese. No google services, Chinese only keyboard unless you resort to T9 typing. Ads on the lock screen and settings drawer. Nee jinne.

Whicu phone was that? I still have chinese stuff here and there, but otherwise i was able to change keyboard to Gboard, and use most things non Chinese.

Did your Nokia 8 eventually develop the image burn-in pink hue on the edges like so many others?
