ShowMax not working right? This is how to report problems

I thought that you could use 4 devices (2 simultaneously).

My account only allows 2 devices - why is that ?

I have now cancelled my service.

Well, now I will never be out of it.

And what difference does the trial period make, according to them it is full-featured ?

Anyway, that is how I am evaluating it.

See they are really keen to sort out any issues users are experiencing. That's a good sign at least.

I agree... when I have a problem again I will report it (apart from being on AfriToast's new network where it doesn't work)
 
I have a better solution to your problems... cancel your subscription! Why pussyfoot around the fact that they rushed a problem filled service to the market. It is what it is. May as well go to Netflix or something similar.

When they arrive in SA I will try Netflix. Showmax works fine for me at the moment, enjoying it :)

Netflix software is much better.

But I mostly watch Amazon Prime, software also good.

The 2 device limitation disqualified ShowMax for me.
 
I wonder how many ppl will subscribe to Amazon Prime just watch to watch the new Clarkson/Hammond/May show.

Well those that don't/won't get the new show from other sources.
 
That's quite a bit of diagnostics info and it's good they are willing to sort things out. Feel pity for them if they get floods of complaints when the problem is in the user's last mile
 
I joined their trial and cancelled 2 hours later. I suppose I could've done some troubleshooting, but nah... it's not my job
 
Problem with their support is they are unresponsive, all they do is send automated responses to queries. If you query an open ticket, they simply open another one!
Chat support is useless, and you can't talk directly to tech support. Really a useless service, launched totally prematurely.
