Need a short personal loan, just R2000 that I'll pay off in 3 months. Anyone know of any lenders that aren't kill me with interest?
Also what can I use for proof of residence as I'm staying with my parents at the moment?

Get a signed letter from ur parents saying you are staying with them, accompanied with a electricity bill with your parents name on it.

Any bank should be able to do it, best would be the one you are banking with anyway. I think FNB even has functionality to apply and have it immediately available at an ATM. If you dont earn a salary yet your parent might need to co-sign for it.

it may not be possible due to financial circumstances, but you're much better off borrowing from your parents/siblings/family members... avoid short term loans at all costs imo.

Ja, either approach your friends/family or your employer for a interest-free loan. Capitec is probably the cheapest, but you'll pay double the amount (if not more) back at the end.
