Slipstream USB Modem with built-in Antennae.

I am glad 2 read that there are forumites that also make mistakes & only a few a very few that make stupid & uninformed mistakes.:p
Nudge nudge ;) ;) Follow my eyes. At least over hear you can say yor say & wait for the responses. And then we still miss the point because we all have an agenda of our own. Typical humanbeing character. It is not nice when somebody tell's you, you are wrong or missing the point but it makes you think.

Sorry Iam3G. Hijacking the thread again.

I think his idea of getting a slipstream modem for a test is the right to do. What mrleroux should do is to move the slipstream to different places in his house to see how the signal changes with the slipstream modem.

Poynting is prepaired to courier an Antennae for testing for 7 days testing. You will be invoiced but when the Antennae is returned they will credit you. All you have to pay is the couier costs.

Does the slip stream pick up better signal than the E220?

Its got a build-in high gain antenna(you flip it open like a clamshell). I just worked with one sofar, and i am impressed with the signal strength. I usually get 3 bards at work with my E220 and Data Card, but with that one that day i got full bars!

So how much is the slip stream and does it support 3.6 or 7.2?

Dunno exaclty how much the Slipstream is. Probably between 2000 and 3000 rand (i really dont know) and it supports up to 3.6Mbps.

Who makes these modem? Do you have an official website link perhaps?

When i installed the device the first time, WIndows picked up the modem as a "Globetrotter HSPA Modem". Gloebtrotter comes from Option, as i have a Globetrotter 3G+ Data Card also. So my guess is Option?
