I'm really glad I'm not with ABSA. And now, knowing this, I'll never use them. Almost R1 million a DAY just for connecting 2500 odd branches.

I'll bet Neotel offered to do it for a LOT less than Telkom. This sounds very sketchy to me.

You're forgetting that Neotels network isn't nearly as large as Telkoms. Telkom will be able to service their atms in Doodgeskietfontein while neotel can't.

As they said in the article. They needed the service now, not in 10 years.

Now who here has that much money to draw ? In SA ?! You must be joking man. Nobody had 100mbps of money to draw - it is preposterous !

Why I can draw my entire salary over 2400bps !

Perhaps they need that much to stream live HD adverts for their homeloans while they "wait" to "contact" your "facility"....
