I bought a smart geyser switch today, it got ac in, live and neutral and ac out, live and neutral. Does it switched both live and neutral. Can I just connect the neutral out to the neutral bar.

What unit? Does it not provide you with a connection diagram? Or at least some user guide? Where do you want to install it? In the DB or at some other location?

Chinese make, inside the db, leroy sell a similar one, it use smart life app. All the timers I know just switched live, this one got 2 neutral

Ja, don't like the way these guys draw their diagrams, but even if it is electrically correct. The wire from contact 1 to the geyser should be coloured RED as it is a live wire and not a neutral one. They do not show that fact there is supposed to be a double pole isolator at the geyser end and that would be marked Live & Neutral.

BTW, I bought this unit from GeeWiz.
It came with absolutely no instruction manual on how to connect it to the Wifi.
I am not 100% sure on what I did to put it into pairing mode, but I think it was holding down the reset button for 10 seconds. Then I added it via the legacy method in Ewelink, by manually connecting to the ITEAD-******* wifi network

Did anyone conclude on how to connect this? I got the same one and not sure now.

Ignore post #6. You have a live in and neutral in - this is coming from the circuit breaker in the DB and connects to the device. Then you have a live out and neutral out - this goes to the geyser. The ground just bypasses the device from the DB straight to the geyser. Looking at the bottom picture in post #9 from left to right connector #2 and connector #4 is the neutrals. L1 and N1 will be from the DB, L2 and N2 will go to the geyser. Pretty simple.

If you put this near the geyser, simply live and neutral in and the wire to the geyser live and neutral out. Inside the db, live and neutral in. Then just live to the geyser. neutral is not switch. I have put in two, happy with it.

one and three is bridged. that would neutral. live comes in and out the other 2 pins.
in the end polarity does not matter. just dont connect same wires on one two and four.

L do switch. N don't.
Send a pic before you connect. a Lug will be a good thing to connect to the terminal.

Thanks everyone. Managed to get it right. Got a friend to who knows more about this stuff to check before I powered it on.
