So everyone is going back to MWEB now???

How is it a fail if, to this day, I have never had an issue with them? Every time my ADSL has been offline it has been a regional Telkom issue, I've never been shaped, I've never been throttled, I get 106 KB/s on a 1 Mbps account.

You're the exception. When I had an Mweb 1Mbps account my speeds never exceeded 100 KB/s, in fact it was about 20 KB/s shy of that most of the time.

Never left ,I don't even use enough to get close to their throttling caps

LOL at Koosi flailing around at everyone.

You're happy with MWeb - we get it.

Mweb shills are not hard to come by, Mweb was always catering for the old toppies that get ADSL 10M for checking e-mails and use what's_up over wi-Fi and sometimes they even "skype" for kicks! LoL.

So who is man enough to own up to going back to MWEB?

:D

Ok .... I will admit ......

I admit that until Hershaw gets the boot or 'till they stop bullsh.tting everyone about uncapped .... I will NOT go back.
There is no way I will pay for an account that may or may not be capped (or totally shaped if you will) depending on how some little fart sees my data useage ....

Question should be - who was man enough to leave and try the other offerings ..:D:D:D

Must be a Capetonian thing? Mweb is a DJ with spinning the throttle.

I have to admit I was wrong.
I traded a short term gain for a long term loss.
I can live with the softcap. I cannot, however live with the crap connection provided by OpenWeb where I can't even use GMail properly.

My original argument with MWEB was the softcap, however I would rather have a stable connection and watch my usage, than have a mediocre connection because Internet Solutions is a crap ISP!

And so begins the discussion of quality vs quantity...

Never downloaded more than 50GB either i assume

Never done less than about 60 GB. I can't get MWEB Guy to admit it, but I think the fact that I don't do any large SSL or P2P transfers factors in. I recently passed the 100 GB threshold without being shaped.

I never used Mweb before a few people got upset and started spamming the Mybroadband forums with inane crap. However, I did 'jump ship' from Afrihost to Mweb a couple of months back after having dealt with Afrihost's unbelievably bad ADSL products for a year and a half. With Afrihost my webbrowsing snailed along at 16kB/s on a good day, and it could take up to a minute to load a simple image. Remember when you were on dial-up? Yeah, that's what Afrihost was like for me. So I moved to Mweb, I'm saving some money and my internet connection is faster than it has ever been with Afrihost.

At least someone is man enough to admit they with the Worst ISP on mybroadband :D :)

Never left. Still 100% happy with the service I have received you know not having to download the entire internet to my house.

You are entitled to how you feel, and I am not going to insult or diss anyone anymore about these playground squabbles.
If your ISP works for you, congratulations mate, but your ISP does NOT work for me. Going with what I know works, and that is MWEB.

Thanks for the support Koosi :)

We appreciate it

Morning SauRoNZA

Thank you for your support. We do appreciate it :)

Was just going to post the same thing. As an Ex Mweb client, I can confirm that Mweb don't seem to mind losing customers, arrogance and living in denial, will only get you so far.
