Did Capitec give any heads up that you can only log into your internet banking by scanning a QR code with the Capitec app?
News to me, I wish they would communicate major changes like that because I never got the memo.
It's a bit backward though because when I tried to add a payment beneficiary then suddenly it wanted the online banking pin typed into the app, as if the app's biometric authorisation just isn't enough, all back to front

So I only saw today that Capitec now has scan to pay with Zapper built in. Have not been out to a restaurant in a long time so never had a need to use Zapper. Used scan to pay on Capitec tonight. Awesome. Did not have to wait for the machine. Paid and left.

Beet traveling and the Capitec CC is really nice. Paying close to the midmarket rate on Google with R3 added. Just wished it worked with Apple pay.

It does not work with Apple Pay? That is strange. But I use Google Wallet so not a big issue for me.

Yeah don’t worry, my gf had a similar issue and just went into Capitec and we got served quick and were out in ten minutes. They know how to reset it in the bank, just verifying your identity with fingerprints. Pretty switched on stuff.

Anyone else having a issue where you do a transaction at a paypoint and it goes through but it is not showing up on your app? I just went to the pharmacy and used Google Wallet and it went through but when I wanted to transfer the money from my savings to credit card the transaction not showing on my Capitec app. Did the transfer anyway and that also is not showing...even though it said successful. Weird.
