Doubt it. Only an African Bank CC you can fund via Easypay.Hi,can any1 tell me if its possible to fund the capitec credit at a branch using a nedbank card?
Working now // experienced same as you latelyAny idea what's happening with capitec
Down at the moment and for the past few hours.
Apparently they intermittently down for a few days now for some users
Or (cough) Gautrain inventing an expiry date for all cards and then insisting on users paying for replacement and struggling to transfer the balance...Banks decide how long a card is valid for. They should not charge for a replacement card of it is expired. Whether the account is R500 or R5 per month. That's like mtn charging us to get a new simcard cos the one I have been using all the time is expired.
They can make it up in the reduction in the difference in the interest they earn on my money and what they pay me and in POS fees to the merchants...No I asked who doesn't because it is the norm and not the other way around. I don't get why it's made an issue. If your bank doesn't charge you because they make up the cost somewhere else then fine. I guess he'll rather pay R6.50 per month for the account instead of R5 plus the R1 per month card fee.
What do you mean no SMS fees? The new cards are out without even a fart about it by Capitec. Lol. Looks better than the Apple card imo. Only paid R65 for the debit card and surprisingly no SMS fees. Seems fair. CC was free and they last longer now at 2 and a bit years. Great stuff. Now just waiting for the updated app with fingerprint login hopefully. Thanks Capitec!
Last time I got a new card the limit updates smses costed me like R2 even though I have sms notifications turned off. Didn't got those this time. What do you mean no SMS fees?

Who do you bank with?Closed my capitec account in the branch. Was a pretty painless experience. And the finger print thing vs signing multiple printed docs ftw. Well done. Why did I close it? I no longer needed it - saw no reason to pay the monthly fee, even if it was around 5bucks.

What is the purpose of this? The gold card is quite satisfactory
Even if I move to a new bank I'll keep Capitec around just for the zero currency conversion fees.Closed my capitec account in the branch. Was a pretty painless experience. Yes look exactly the same. Card numbers on the back. Looks sick.Pics?
Tap 'n pay mostly. Most big places updated their POS machines by now. Local Checkers updated earlier this year so time is right for it now. What is the purpose of this? The gold card is quite satisfactory
Have you tried it with the new card?Tap 'n pay
Didn't work at McD's just now. Probably have to insert it to activate it first. Will test tomorrow.Have you tried it with the new card?
Would be the only reason I would probably pay to get the new card
