Absolutely, there are no major issues with Touchwiz. That off-center app drawer just irritates my eye

In order of preference:
Nova Prime (both phone and tablet)
Apex launcher (similar to Nova)
Aviate launcher (see below)
Action launcher (big hype, but not something I would use)
I really like it too, but I won't use it until I can create my own collections. It is really beautiful and easy to use
Still have to try Buzz to see what all the fuzz is about, but I reckon I will try Themer next.

Nova. I tried GO launcher for a while but got tired of its nagging and the mysterious Chinese folders it kept creating on my SD card.
Apex and Nova are pretty much identical, except Nova is more customizable.

I have Apex Pro, Aviate, Action Launcher Pro and have tried Everything.Me. All are worth a try. I gave Nova a shot too, but Apex was more my style at the time. I bought the Pro version for notifications.

By notifications, do you mean badges like in the attached picture?
The free version is not giving me that functionality and nor is Apex Notifier.

I haven't tried Nova yet.
Are the badges available for all 3rd party apps as well? Like WhatsApp for example.
The unread count badges? You'll need Nova Prime (Paid)...
Bit silly I know, for basic functionality.

I went for the paid version of Apex Launcher which is my favourite and it added exactly the functionality I was looking for. Not the end of the world for like 40 bucks
Yup, paid functionality. Notifier only works with Paid version, AFAIK.

Yeah. I didn't see that when I downloaded notifier before I had the paid version.
Why do you want what is an iOS feature when you have notifications?

I have the paid features, yet I find that they are (largely, anyway) replaced by notifications. In particular, with CyanogenMod you can even have a count in your notification icons. Just wondering, is all. The beauty of Android is customising it to work for you.Of course, I find those same count bubbles a pain on my iPad, so it could be that too.
