So what was your increase like?

You can share your % or much like @Ninja'd did last year how much will actually add to your nett.

Okay, I'm not gonna turn this into an annual thing but just received it now. They also included the percentage this time around. I'm happy with it.

Changed jobs, starting the new one in April so jump was about 40 to 50% Nett salary while gross + CTC was a really big jump.

Everyone in the company got 7%. Talk about useless. Might as well just sleepwalk in and out every day.

Company average is 6%. I got 8.5% plus another 9% next month when I change jobs.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel.

About to sign with a new company with an increase of 50% after tax and I get to move to Durban.

Couldn't be happier

6% which was the average for competent performance, annual bonus just north of 6 figures.

Company average this year (if the grapevine is to be believed) is 5% .. I'm getting mine tomorrow or Friday - not expecting anything as I got a good one last year.

Changed jobs & almost tripled gross. BOOM!

That being said...took a decade of hard slogging & paying my dues to make that possible.

What do you do to get a bonus north of 6 figures?!?

My job...really well. To be honest, I believe the company (+5000 employees) has a policy of inflation-linked increases with decent annual bonuses to key people as their staff retention plan. We used to get increases around 12-15% a few years back...a discretionary bonus scheme is a lot less costly over time for an employer than increases that are twice inflation.
