With all the recent hype about the launch of Windows 7, many have forgotten that Karmic is just around the corner.

I'm super keen... Are you?
 
Yip! Have Ubuntu and Kubuntu on pre-order (Shipit free disc shipping service).
 
Can't wait! Audio compatibility right out of the box! That's always been my biggest problem with linux. Audio.
 
mmmmmmm, new kernel.

To lazy to recompile my current kernel, to support el-cheapo usb video grabber that I bought from ebay.
 
I've just installed 9.10rc on my son's PC. We're doong the updaes now. It starts up like you won't believe.

I like it a lot.

That's great news for the RC! I've always had major issues with pre-releases.

I think what I'm looking most forward to is the results of the 100 paper cuts project!
 
I have been running the beta version on my netbook for nearly 2 weeks now, its rock solid and I haven't updated anything yet. I love it, can't wait for the final!
 
I'm still having issues with my E220 on the Karmic RC. But apart from that its great :D
 
Can't wait for the release..... looking forward to see what's new

A bit concerned about the E220 issues though.
Hopefully... the issues will be ironed out, come release day.
 
Will I have to format and re-install once its released? currently running 9.10beta, or can I just update?
 
Been running 9.10 Beta for the past 3 weeks.

Have had minor issues but have managed to sort them out relatively easily.
 
tried to order CDs and they told me i have ordered a few in the past and its expensive so i should just dowload - lol

guess im on uncapped, no excuse. heh
