App the Dyness is a 0.5C battery so can only use half of the capacity
 
Massive noob so trying to learn all the lingo.

But my solar journey has begun. They busy installing. Roof has a terrible design so panels is a challenge.
But should be all in tonight

Personally using Deye but honestly no difference between Deye and sunsynk (have a lot of friends and family using Sunsynk) - they both very good - came down to price at the time for me to get a Deye

Plus Deye is the manufacturer for sunsynk
so not sure where you hearing about it not being great ?

Deye and Sunsynk hardware are identical and come from the same (Deye) factory. Only difference is the Sunsynk has a different firmware, so the UI looks different. They're the same thing for all practical purposes.

Not quite accurate. C relates to discharge (and charge) current. You can use all the capacity, just at a slightly slower rate. While important with single batteries, C value becomes irrelevant when you have a slightly larger battery bank.

Probably meant power capacity.

After sales is an issue I heard, and if Deye is the manufacturer, would rather use them

much of a muchness though Either way you going to have to deal with a 3rd party for repairs - but anyway I'm very happy with Deye - initially Sunsynk app was much nicer and Deye a bit sad - now they the same (some say Deye is better) - plus there are like 4 apps to choose from ;)

It's a deye inverter. I took it to the Sunsynk repair shop at 80 Highview Boulevard, Ferndale
 
I see these are supposedly the new Deye inverters, anyone seen them available?

Ok some feed back . my roof is a bit of a mess and we had to put 5 panels east and 5 west facing. I decided to ad a further 6 panels on the car port facing north. so 16 panels total.

yesterday i made 6kw from the sun at 11. Thus far everything in the house can run of the sun during the day. Yesterday had aircon on for the entire day.
Batteries seem to last through the night. Although i think i need to add 1 one more battery.

Busy fine tuning the system but i am extremely happy. The company installing was amazing. Painless installation and looks amazing.

Now looking forward to all the money i wont have to pay eskom. Based on my rough calculation system would pay it self back in 3 to 4 years.
