Some questions about neotel

Does neotel give you any local bandwidth in the packages?

Can you buy local from any isp and log in with that to use local or do you have to use neotel as an isp?

And what will we be able to do when they start with this fibre cable thing, do we have a choice in what to use or do they tell us what we can and cant do?

Neotel owns their own infrastructure, they wont let any other ISP use it... I dont think they sell local cap and ever will, as in about a year or so uncapped should be cheap enough for anyone to buy, or at least that's what they say

They will own the fiber too. unless they somehow let an ISP in on the deal

So why is neotel there then?,, are they even making any money?

The want to offer a good internet service/experience...

There is no difference between local and international bandwidth on Neotel.
But it does not matter as they offer better caps...

The fiber will take some more time, a lot more...
The corporate guys will most probably first have a go...

Given time, Neotel will push Telkom away but that time is still way off.

We users are struggling, it's not like ADSL where you connect at 4mb (for 99% of its users) and get 400KB from a local server.

With Neotel, one minute you'll get 100KB, next you'll get 20, next you'll get 5, it's very up and down.

Then again, Neotel is all wireless at the moment and from what I've heard about the "MyWireless" problem, Neotel is doing it all over again - however, I have faith in them (as a company) that at some point - SOON! they'll get the cards in order and show us a full house and start kicking ass.
