SONA 2018 has been postponed

I was told by the head of the disability department to apply and when I told her afterwards she said,"oh well I thought it was for everyone."

It is for everyone according to EEA. Perhaps you should take it up with relevant people?

Hey hey I don't really know much about the politics. I'm just saying that imo, seizing land without compensation sounds bad. I don't know how they'll go about it or who exactly they intend to target so I don't really know.

I also did not like the land thing. I don't know if I am clutching g at straws....but I found what he said immediately after interesting. Almost like a very small little back door to get out of it.

Don't worry much about it

Meh. Just more of the same socialist clap-trap we've been hearing from the ANC over the past decade. Didn't hear any actual pro-growth policies.

2/3 majority is needed to implement the land without compensation issue since it affects the constitution.

Would you prefer a Zuma?

Nah, but it just shows the ANC needs to be booted out of power ASAP but looks like with Cyril, they will increase their majority in 2019 which will be bad for SA in the long run as a strong opposition is a very important aspect in a democracy.

When you say strong opposition, do you mean like in the US?

Oh get off it.

Give credit where credit is due.

That was a world class speech and sure every statement wasn't necessarily agreeable, but if you can't acknowledge it for what is it then you are simply acknowledging that no matter what he does or says it will never be good enough for you.

It reflects more on you than it does on him.

For the first time in decades there is a glimmer of hope and some real potential but people will still shoot it down.

It's ****ing sad, that's what it is.

And dare I say it, it's almost always coming from the white camp.

World class speech that spoke about land expropriation without compensation, universal healthcare/NHI which will destroy healthcare in this country, free tertiary education and universal minimum wage which will likely lead to significant job losses.

Sorry if I'm uninspired by such comments.

So you like it 50:50?

Yes. It keeps those in power on their toes and actually having to perform somewhat or else they will get voted out. What most politicians fear the most is losing power.
