Yep , negative people ,you have all the right to be negative...but you won't stop our march...our forward march.
No time for that. We need to redouble our efforts to strengthen, extract, unlock, expand stuffs.

The highlight of SONA 2020 was how out of sync the EFF appeared within SA. They just brought nothing to inspire one to burn anything. Is JM physically ill? He looked more like shīt than usual.

We will also put in place measures to enable municipalities in good financial standing to procure their own power from independent power producers
This is pretty good

This year we will open up and regulate the commercial use of hemp products, providing opportunities for small-scale farmers; and formulate policy on the use of cannabis products for medicinal purposes, to build this industry in line with global trends.
This is also good, I suspect some farmers are gonna make a lot of money

We are prioritising youth, women, people with disabilities and those who have been farming on communal land and are ready to expand their operations for training and allocation of land.

A new beneficiary selection policy includes compulsory training for potential beneficiaries before land can be allocated to them.

Agreed, agreed...we can but hope / pray ..but would be more fitting, for him to live a long long life and see Madiba's nation flourish, while doing his VBS time...

Put in context he was delivering that speech to most of his same comrades who voted to support state capture while he was deputy. Their biggest sigh was upon hearing about performance agreements needed to hold them accountable. Such character lol. Ironically if CR had been performing as president under a performance contract he would already be long gone. How inspirational is that?

This government has a major credibility crisis. Deservedly so. They are lame ducks tarnished by their own record of dishonest governance while dressed in shiny suits that desperately try to convey the integrity they are so sorely lacking.

It would be something to behold if those of such questionable character could possibly be inspired by a speech so lacking in substance to act as the catalysts for anything positive while trying to implement their clear as mud confused mess of contradictory nonsensical political and economic policies.

CR can dream a little dream but him and his band of ministers would be hard-pressed to provide a straight conclusive answer on any single major policy issue whether it be related to the general economy, or SAA, Eskom, EWC, NHI, or any other matter. Talk about conflicted, they are paralysed, entirely indecisive and rudderless. Or extremely cunning. Can expect more of the same at SONA 2021.
