Put in context he was delivering that speech to most of his same comrades who voted to support state capture while he was deputy. Their biggest sigh was upon hearing about performance agreements needed to hold them accountable. Such character lol. Ironically if CR had been performing as president under a performance contract he would already be long gone. How inspirational is that?

This government has a major credibility crisis. Deservedly so. They are lame ducks tarnished by their own record of dishonest governance while dressed in shiny suits that desperately try to convey the integrity they are so sorely lacking.

It would be something to behold if those of such questionable character could possibly be inspired by a speech so lacking in substance to act as the catalysts for anything positive while trying to implement their clear as mud confused mess of contradictory nonsensical political and economic policies.

CR can dream a little dream but him and his band of ministers would be hard-pressed to provide a straight conclusive answer on any single major policy issue whether it be related to the general economy, or SAA, Eskom, EWC, NHI, or any other matter. Talk about conflicted, they are paralysed, entirely indecisive and rudderless. Or extremely cunning. Can expect more of the same at SONA 2021.
 
So he wants to create jobs but also get people to study robotics and automation. He wants to save money as he realizes we are on a debt precipice, but also build wakanda. Not sure Ramaposa is all there in the head.
 
The performance contract is a nice idea but how do you rate a Minister of arts a culture compared to a Minister of Public enterprises, one is clearly tasked with a huge responsibility while the other is merely collecting a salary every month.

That's why I believe arts and culture must be a provincial competency or at the highest, a directorate at national level.
