Ah i see well if your signal strength seems to be fine i can only link it to tower congestion. My signal is around -56 i get full 10MBps 24/7 and very good pings.

During Youtube streaming

Yet signal says -69dBm, what gives :erm:
 
I figured out my issue - with heavy wind & rain recently the dish must have shifted, pointing into a tree. Adjusted my dish a bit and it's good again:

For the first time since i have been with Sonic i am having issues getting high pings/timeouts to the tower i connect to even with no traffic going through
 
It's fine now connecting to the Liberty Grande Tower in Goodwood also known as SWS-LG-CORE-New it seems the issue came up when another client was using 7MBps of Traffic on the same sector so would assume he had a bad CCQ to affect other clients
 
finally got to align my dish properly, seems the wind had dislodged my mounting bracket, some 14mm rawbolts did the trick :)

Hi Guys, sonic wireless did a site survey at my place, so this is what they got: -62 and CCQ was 93%.

Now will this be sufficient for BF4 online gaming local? And some PlayStation gaming online?

That is more then enough anything above 60% CCQ is great you should get amazing speed and pings! i have a -58 signal at the moment and a 95% CCQ 10MBps account and local pings in BF4 of 4ms on CPT servers
 
Hi all,

I am in Somerset-West, Helena Heights. Very disgusted with Telkom ADSL and asked SW to do a site survey. Anyone else in the area that uses SW? And what is your experience?

While SW do the survey at my house, is there any important questions i need to ask or things to look out for? I cant afford having another ****ty connection.

I don't have any experience with Wireless.
 
Currently having major issues with my connection for the past week+ solid having major ping issues have sent a ticket to support but so far it has been ignored if i do not get a response in the next 24 hours i will log a call i get 700ms+ ping to the tower with a signal of -56 and a CCQ of 98-92% this can be attributed to allow a client on the AP with a terrible signal and ccq.

I had the same issue about a week back, my stats on my Rocket M5 are

Signal Strength: -58 dBm
Chain 0 / Chain 1:-58 / -64 dBm
Noise Floor:-91 dBm
Transmit CCQ:82.2 %
TX/RX Rate:78 Mbps / 104 Mbps

These have stayed constant since i re-aligned my antenna, i phoned support, they did something on thier end and since then i havent had any problems.

I'm in the Uitzicht area and i connect to Bots...
