Anyone damage to get a decent synch program/utillity for windows based itunes? I assume the above one is for Mac.
The ones I have tried have not worked.
Don't know about itunes, but have you tried Winamp, it has great sync capabilities with your memory stick (either directly in a slot or USB file mode on your phone). It can convert most files (even flac) to several different formats, including eAAC at 64kbps (which actually sounds quite good). It will sync random songs or only new songs, et cetera. It's the kind of program Disc2Phone should be, only there are limitations on MP3 format unless you buy the full version.
Ps. got your Holux yet?
I can't seem to manage my contacts on my P990i from my PC. On my N70, I can access all my contacts and various fields for those contacts and edit them on my PC using the PC Suite software. Is it possibe to do this on the SE?? I've dwnlded the latest SE PC Suite software and cannot find it thereIt'll be a real pity if one can't do this ...
I posted the same question a couple of pages back. My wife's old Samsung crappy phone can do it. But I also couldn't find it on our PC suite. The thing is when you update or sync your pc with your phone, You will have three Paul Smiths one with his email one office phone number and the other cell. WTF!! I also thought it would be nice to cut and past (edit) contacts on my phone from my Laptop.![]()
We have K800i with 3G MTN sim. Using it as a modem for connecting to the internet. Using Skype to speak to friends in the UK, want to also connect webcam, but we are not getting any good connection speed. The phone is connected to our laptop via USB cable to a USB 2.0. We dial *99# when dialling up to the MTN Data service. What are we doing wrong?
We do have a tower very close to us, probably 2 km's away. What else could it be? Could my phone perhaps not be configured correctly?
If you are not getting good connect speeds, it simply means that you're not close enough to a MTN 3G tower. You can get an external antennae to improve your signal, but it's not guaranteed. I used to have MTN 3G, reception was not good - and then I discovered that the Vodacom 3G tower is just across the road from our complex.
Now I get full HSDPA reception with Vodacom.![]()
