Sony Ericsson P990i

LOL Kingrob, either you were just half asleep and didn't notice that you could transfer the radio sound before, OR it was part of that minor update you avoided lol, because I have been doing it for a while now :P

And you don't tell me about it - shame on you! :)

Whilst we on the topic, anyone know how to transfer the radio sound to a computer's speakers via bluetooth or USB cable? Can it be done?

don't think it can Trix but definately not my area of expertise lol.

@Bruce - I think perhaps it was that the SEUS server was very busy, or your net was acting up - my update went fairly quickly. It took between half an hour and 45 mins from start to finish, maybe I just got lucky :P

Sorry King. Your such a Boffin when it comes to the P990 I assumed you knew;)

I only 'tuned' my radio stations and then never really used it, because you need to keep the earphones on all the time.

When I 'tuned' my radio stations again last night, I discovered the little speaker icon! :)

So you can listen to the radio without plugging in anything?

No, you need to plug the handsfree in, because it is your antennae, but you can transfer the sound to the phone and leave it on the desk - and you've got RDS FM radio! :)

I'm starting to love my P990i more & more (new firmware is absolutely brilliant!) - think a 8GB memory stick duo will be in order... ;)

*Have you ordered your P990i, Piesang?

Well, I'm not going to wait forever for the N95.

That's fantastic news! Now you don't have to settle for second best and can get the best phone on the planet - your own snazzy P990i!

Just think about that, Piesang....

Honk honk. :)

That is not what you said last night when you had to wait an hour for it to "improve service". LOL

To each his own ......... unfortunately the king is a Sony fanboy in need of an interventional neuro radiologist !
