At $4.85 is was a phenominal buy, good quality with a velvet feel to the plastic. I bought 3 of these. 1 for work, 1 by my home pc, and one by my bedside table. Which has me covered pretty well, and I must say, the daydream feature is pretty boss (it's similar to IFTTT recipes).

damn now i feel shafted.... mine was R280 and it doesn't fit snug either. did you pay for shipping? those docking stations are awesome as well, would like to get a couple. one for work and one for home.

Yup cannot wait for 4.4, from what i've read they saying 1st quarter next year
 
THere was the option for express mail, but I took the cheap route, and elected for regular mail(no extra cost), which took about a week.
 
I think KitKat will make this phone even better and faster. I really cant wait :D Now just bring an update to make the camera even better!

I got mine for 250 from a vodacom store. It also has that velvet plastic feel but it has no openings for the docking statiom. Btw what is a docking station :wtf:

My cover was cheaper. Also open for the magnetic charger. The sim and memory card slots are covered. But I'm ok with that. less chance of covers opening.

Mine was imported by a travelling family member.

look under the usb port. there are 2 metal pins. it allows for the magnetic charging doc.
This means you only open the usb port when connecting the phone to a PC and such. Meaning less wear and tear on the covers.

I find that difficult to believe.


I am one of those horid people who pocket the phone, with keys. Chuck it on the bed etc.

But then I was uncharacteristically cautious until I got a cover about 2 weeks after I got it.

Now life is normal and caution is gone.

the permanent screen protector scratches so easily. mine is riddled with tiny scratches, making the front of the phone almost look dull. youtube a scratch test to see for yourself. Not to mention the glass back.

I don't ever put my phone in any pockets containing coins/keys , if that's what you're thinking.

I have the same issue with my Xperia E Dual. I'm very weary of putting it in any pocket and if I do I make sure there's no keys in there.
 
Does any of you have a problem with Android freezing and jumping around on your phones?

I do, and my phone is still good.



you can get multi pack screen protectors. There are even screen protectors for the back glass ;) Typically available on packs of 10

Look on Amazon.

I'll change the screen protector probably end of next month. But then again on my S2 I changed every 2months(due to keys)

Nope, got my phone the friday after it was advertised.

Look at the various apps you installed afterwards, perhaps there is a conflict?
