Sony DK36 magnetic charger
R699 @ Vodacom and Cellucity stores, well stock and branch dependent I suppose. I enquired at Canal Walk and the Vodacom guy says the Waterfront branch had a couple of units to test the demand, but they sold quickly (lol, bought up by the staff themselves).

Im still struggling to decide on getting a Z2 or an S5,

Z2 Cons:

No IR blaster
No Dedicated return buttons like the S5
IP58 Certification, I dont want crappy flaps on all the connectors.

S5 cons:

IP67 Certification

So that got me thinking, should I get the S4?

But is the Snapdragon 600 a huge difference to the Snapdragon 801?

Why not the LG G3?

You can get a charging dock so no flaps to play with.

Buttons on the back are meh.

You'll adjust in about a day. You hardly use those buttons anyway, as you double tap the screen to activate it. Seems a shame to skip what is probably the best phone available. 5.5" screen, tiny bezels, big removable battery, 3GB RAM, excellent camera, microSD support etc. It's basically perfect.

I'd have bought one if the 32GB model was cheaper. I have a OnePlus One, which I love, but I'd trade it for a 32GB G3 in a heartbeat.

The curved form factor and the rear buttons are a big put off, without them I would get the G3.

Well just play around with a demo model before writing it off. I was indifferent towards the G2 and G3 until my dad got a G2 and I set it up for him. It sits nicely in the hand and the rear buttons are easy to operate when needed (which isn't often). The G3 has improved the shape and feel of the rear buttons over the G2 too.

Guys, a quick question. I have no sound coming out of the bottom speaker during music and video playback. Is this usual? Does anyone else have this problem?

Roo, have you tried turning it off and on? :p Or is it a constant issue? Can't say I have had the same issue myself but have annoyingly had to restart 3 times already due to the phone bugging out.

Just as a matter of interest, what's the best you've gotten out of your battery? In terms of screen on time.. Here's mine uploadfromtaptalk1408267595029.jpg

Not quite sure what you mean? How would we replicate this test? Do you mean leave our screens on until the battery runs down to 10% and then report back on the time taken to reach that 10%?

Use it as per normal from 100% to about 5% maybe without charging/using usb. Also don't restart, uses a bit of juice to do that.

Took a month, but finally have my phone back from the repair shop! Working like a treat again, thank the pope. Bought a damn cover for it before I picked it up. Bodyglove not looking too bad and doesn't add that much bulk to it.

Anyone know if it's possible to mute an the ringer on an incoming call by pressing a volume key? Or how to mute the ringer in general?
