Sometimes one thinks they are closed properly but they may not be. I have a Z3...and found once or twice this was the case - although I didn't submerge the phone.

Not sure if he closed it, but right now he'd swear he did.

Strangely, the Z1 compact warns you when a port is open. The Z3 doesn't.

Got a magnetic charger so I don't need to open the ports. I suspect opening them often will wear out the seal.

There are a few on that page. I bought the triple pack and a clear casemate.

Took a week with the DHL option for the items in stock. Pricey if you only getting one item. I got a few mates to order cases and other accessories, and combined the order to split the cost. Fully tracked, and out of stock items were sent separately for free. Don't even think about the postal service option.

Personally I prefer not to use char chargers as in my experience I have found that over time they shorten the lifespan of the battery. I do however carry and extra battery brick should I need it. Which in the case of the Z3 is very rare.

I ordered the DK48 magnetic docks from MobileFun. I am currently using a makeshift solution of a Z1 dock. The guides on the DK31 (Z1) are not the same as the DK48 (Z3) due to the thickness of the phone.

Only via PC.

Haven't noticed any change.
