Must say that I just got shocked about the battery life.
Had the phone a few days now. Battery life was a bit better than my S4, but not whole day better. Then today I discovered that my GPS was on the whole time. That's quite shocking how long the battery lasts with the GPS on.

Just had an error that the home page isn't responding. Restarted and everything on my home pages are gone! Had to recreate. That sucks!

Ok so I just took the plunge and ordered a SIM Free Z3...from Orange. Now the 8 working day wait has begun.
I have to order a nano SIM and a new case with screen protector...any recommendations on case something that as a ridge and fits around the screen to absorb impact if it the phone is dropped / falls?

Using the Sony launcher or 3rd party?
Current owner of a Z3, one drop on the screen and it crackedAdvice to you guys get tempered glass flim to protect it.
It is a awesome phone though !!!!

New Z3 Compact owner here. I had a look at both the Z3 and the Z3 Compact before making my decision. The Z3 was just slightly too large for my liking.
You can't go wrong with either phone, whichever one suits you best.
They are pretty cheap at Orange!

On the plus side I deleted all the extra pages of (now gone) widgets so now only have one clean page.

What cable did you order? I'm waiting for a cable from eBay and another one from DX...
That's the only thing I wish they had included with the device. Although there doesn't seem to be an official cable (ignoring what eBay sell as official)

Mobilefun had two models but only one in stock, without the LED. Just plain white.
Cool. As long as it seats easily and charges, that's all it needs to do. The phone itself has a LED charging indicator, so no need for an extra one on the charger.
I'm still shopping around for a case for my Z3c. I was considering the Rhinoshield, but it doesn't look like it will reach its (unrealistic) pre-order requirements:

They are legit...so you can order form them. No stock of the Dock charger though.
