SP3?

Should I install it? This has probably been covered, but can someone point me in the direction of a link or something that explains the upgrades etc.

I've just downloaded it from the Microsoft website, but I'd like to know if I should install.

Yes, I would say that you should install it. I've had it since it was released and its working great. Just don't try and uninstall SP3 once you've installed it.

yes you should and back up everything first

I would recommend running Windows Update before you install it, because there are fixes for some issues involved with installing it.

Well, I've heard there are issues with Internet Explorer if you install SP3 on a system using IE7. (SP3 doesn't come with IE7 for some reason...)

I don't know about the internet in general.

I'm using XP SP3 at the moment (Vista decided to die, blegh), but I installed it fresh from a slipstreamed CD. No problems.
