I think it was about 2 grand but its discontinued now. You can't add external antennas but the router itself has 2 parts, the indoor module which looks like a router and an outdoor module which is effectively an external antenna since it is separate and powered off the indoor unit via PoE. You don't need an outdoor antenna. The gain seems good, considering I use a tower over 5km away.Seems like a bloody expensive router, how is the gain on it? Can you add external antennas?

Oh I thought it was one single out door unit. Interesting, cause I can get one.
I recommend you do then. It does what you need - high gain directional antenna, LTE locking, etc.

Yeah I read the product spec hence I was asking about the gain. Wasn't that clear to me it was two units.
If you can find one, get it. Rain were sending these out to customers with issues and they work well.
So thought I would give a little feedback. I actually managed to get ICASA out, MTN found one source of interference and ICASA went to shut it down. Though I think it didn't last long since yeah there hasn't been much change. But hey at least something was done.
