Speeds in Centurion

Any 8ta users in Centurion ? hows your experiences ?

My CellC time is up and since they dont have the specials anymore, i am forced to look at 8ta but i dont wanna get burnt like i did with Vodacom.

Speeds are decent enough,

I'm on the go big 10gig 2 year contract and very happy. (Based in Wierda Park)

One thing i will mention is latency spikes and speed drops in peak hour times (7-9pm) seems to many users connect to the same tower and contention becomes a real issue and with limited capacity at each tower they're gonna have to really watch the load and perform a good balancing act to keep everyone happy

I play BF3 on occasion, its great sometimes but unplayable at others a good session would yield sub 50ms and a bad 300ms+.

My girlfriend stays in Highveld Eco park in Irene area. I got speeds yesterday of +/- 10Mbps up and +/- 2.5 Mbps down there.

Tested it at gf's house in Highveld.

Downloads of ~600kb/sec and uploads of ~250kb/s
Also, pingtest gives ~60ms ping with ~10ms jitter (B grade).

I am using it in Hatfield, and I'm really happy with 8ta. Getting speedtest of over 900kb/sec
