I'm with you there. Maybe there's a team in another universe that can beat us at the mo. Certainly no one that was or is at this WC.

Stumble yes, but did not choke. How often can your say that of any SA sports team?

So long as we keep our heads against Las Puma's and not take risky passes like Steyn did in the first half, we should be ok.

12 point Victory against Argentinian next weekend.

I'm not insane enough to put money on the France England Game, but I hope France wins. The English play boring Rugby.
 
It got close.

But the Bokke kept their heads and did it. Wasn't pretty or flashy, but they did it.
 
No stumble or choke. Fuji is good with the loose "SEVENS" game, so that was a wake up call. Luckily it happened early enough to enable the Boks to reevaluate their game plan and return to the original script. Pity Habbana saw so little of the ball, seems to me some had left side blinkers on or just forget about Haba! :confused: ?

One yes that went unpunished but it was not a complete tackle as BAkkies withdraw just in the nick of time but it could and would have been punished by the normal refs!

I could have quoted myself from this thread but I don't want to make ur pain even more :). I see a France SA final. I would have much rather played the NZ team as they are not as unpredictable as the french.

Now pls stop making certain assumptions that SA will win, we almost lost it to Fiji :eek:

I would like to call this one fisrt.

Habana is now a has been, after his hit to the head he's a scared little chicken. I hope he proves me wrong.

1. He never chased the ball once yesterday
2. He had the ball twice. Once he just stood there and didn't move.... (To scared of the Fiji Winger). The second he ran up to the back line then duck'd to the ground once the defence came up.

Could have been a once off only as the Fiji guys are huge, and I hope that was the case. I however doubt that. Hope he can sort out he's head or it's only downhill from here.

You don't honestly believe that? He tackled like a demon all game, what's disappointing is the ball not finding its way down the backline enough, partly due to Steyn getting caught in possession to often or aimlessly kicking the ball away too often. all in all the boks didn’t look particularly sharp against Fiji but I reckon they got quite a bit in reserve yet and they will probably find it easier going against more orthodox opponents like Argentina and to a lesser degree England or France...

habana is by far not my favourite player, but i wouldnt write him off just yet. I think he was a bit shell shocked by Ngwenya *sp* of Usania running circles around him, but so far he's only received ball from standstill positions or hospital passes - i think he'll still bail us out if need be.

As for peterson, i couldnt have pointed out a bigger quota player if i wanted to (aside from that dude in the cricket team), but he bucked up (mind the pun) quite a bit in the last few matches and has become borderline acceptable already.

i agree with what Killadoob said, this cup is ours ... only part he left out is saying " this cup is ours ... to lose", if we play it right we're there. there's nothing stopping us aside from choking under fire.

No matter what happens, at least we wont lose against Auz or NZ :D
