So what evidence do you have of him beating her in public. Who laid the charge? How do you know she might have started the fight with him and he hit her back. You are reading this from News24 which produces lower quality journalism than a rat pulling a newspaper from a garbage dump.
Look I don't think this guy is a particular saint, given the way he acted, and it wouldn't surprise me that he was beating his wife. But my feelings on him don't warrant me to validate any circumstantial evidence that you think might be there. It further doesn't warrant you labeling everyone who disagrees with you as being supportive of wife beating.
