I am hosting a Sql Server 2014 database which is currently being maintained by my developers.
These are programmers, not full fledged DBAs.
I am looking for someone who is open to do some contract work (x hrs per month at x rate) to do some preventative maintenance - i.e. configuring of indexes, monitoring for corruptions, checking of backups etc as well as be available if/when there is ever a catastrophic db failure and we need some help recovering. Our database is currently very small, but as our business grows I want to be sure that the correct policies / procedures are in place
Hours are flexible, and can be done from home. Essentially this is a flexible gig (and an easy one) ideally suited to a DBA looking to make some extra cash - It is not a full time position. Person should have some form of qualifications, or experience on MS Sql Server 2014, Enterprise Edition.
