Ok so this might just be me but my speeds are pathetic.

I got given a 3.5GB Afrihost a/c - slow as anything - capped - should be lightning, no?
Uncapped afrihost - 384k a/c - DL'd 33GB's - throttled to death
MWEB uncapped - dead as well

Am i missing something here?!

is it still a seacom issue? Does MWEB use seacom?
 
I have the same issues. Have (a) 8 gig ISD capped acc + (b) IS uncapped acc + (c) 1gig Telkom capped acc, all of them slower than a snail sleepwalking.

Some pages does'nt even open anymore, only says loading.............
 
My ADSL is dog slow also, all accounts Axxess Express, Axxess Unshaped, WA Unshaped, Cybersmart and Eject :P

Called Telkom reset my port, syncing like a charm at 4096.

Speed tests range from 1.1 to 2.8
 
not getting more than 16KB/sec downloading PS3 update from international site on 384k line ... snails pace .. mweb uncapped

I'm sure this is Seacom/IS related.

Also in Centurion here and I'm experiencing exactly the same. Keoma tested my account and works 100% on his side. So looks like this problem is either Centurion/Pretoria based from my side.
 
Suddenly, at 12:00, as if a switch was flicked, I got full line speed again on all protocols...

Afrihost 384
 
SLOW AS F* !!!!! This is BS! I am getting the feeling that this is intentional!
 
My MWeb uncapped is running at 0,6 MB/sec as of now. It's pathetic. It's a new month, so any throttling should have stopped.
