Yeah people complaining about it, they don't understand how the hydro pumped system works. Need a few hours to pump the water back to the top part.Stage 2 from 0:00-06:00 (Friday, 15 Jan)
Stage 1 from 06:00-18:00 (Friday, 15 Jan)
For City of CT customers.
Ahhh ffs one of the breakers blew
We should be on stage 3, as we suppose to have 2000mw spare at anytime. It's surprising that we are only on stage 2 and not a higher stage, demand is higher than supply tonight.

Yeah except stage 1 and stage 2 were the same today for Cape TownAccording to the City of CT's facebook page : " City-supplied customers will be on Stage 1 load-shedding from 12:00 until 00:00 tonight, 14 January. The City is able to protect its customers from one stage of load-shedding. Eskom-supplied customers will be on Stage 2 from 12:00. "

Oh not at my spot ,at the substation in morningside or something. Not sure if it is even called a breaker lol. Its back now yayYou should always turn off your breakers just before loadshedding then when you know its on, turn the mains and EL on and flip them up slowly.
That's reality .... thinking otherwise is just the most professional ostrich maneuver ever.We can moan all we want, and vloek these bliksems to kingdom come, but things will never change until the ruling party is replaced with one that's serious about turning around the country's deplorable state that it finds itself in at the moment, and even if such a miracle should ever happen, our generation will most likely never see that recovery....
Cause they technically could use the remaining 16 OCTGS if needed. Also the renewable generation covered the missing capacity luckily. It's surprising that we are only on stage 2 and not a higher stage, demand is higher than supply tonight.
