Stargate Universe

They even showing sex scenes in SGU! Not normal for SG series.

I'm not complaining!

But this is where BSG beats SG hands down. Its so much more mature that SG.
 
Well they did show a smokin hot nekkid Egyptian god sacrifice in the first episode of SG1... :D
 
SGU is sucking.. I dont watch scifi for sex, I watch it for scifi.
 
I think the series is slowly getting better and better... watched episodes 4 and 5 today, and they're building pace nicely...
 
even my wife is watching SGU with me...she hates scifi.

its got potential, they're building it up nicely....could be a bit slow....but atleast they're not going to have power problems like SGA for the first 3 seasons!!!!

Hmm, so after 10 episodes I have to say that while I like it and will continue watching it, it just doesn't feel like a Stargate series. It actually reminds me of Defying Gravity set in the Stargate world.
 
OK, so I'm a SG fan, big time. I liked the original SG-1 series, I enjoyed Atlantins and SGU is very interesting. Yes the all the series had there not so exciting eps, but overall, they are very good.

Keep it coming, I hope they revive the Atlantis movie, which was canned because of the recession.
 
I'm enjoying SGU, its a different take on things from the other SG series...

sounds a little like farscape or any other story about A trying to get to B after being stuck in another X after Z went wrong ;)

but nonetheless i would give it a try when i get my hands on a few eps :)
 
i managed to watch the first 2 or 3 episodes this past week and must say it's not that bad ! that senator's daughter looks familiar , is she the same chick from firefly ? (the crazy one)
 
SG1 / Atlantis had alot more theories/sci-fi + action going [both had an "arch-enemy" i.e. the gua-uld and the wraith which was interesting to follow by itself].
Also what made SG1 so good [for me] was the rather comical-sarcasm coming from Anderson [Mcguyver] at even the most serious of moments.

SG-U now have none of that. In fact there isn't even a Stargate being used actively, just a ship. I don't find any humour in there either...

There's no "science" and it's just a bunch of random people thrown together trying to survive, with lots of "days of our lives" kind of drama.

You know what SG-U is ? It is identical to LOST, minus the mystery...

Maybe it gets better, but the first 5 episodes was a little "meh" , way too much drama, no science or action .

Stargate.Universe.S01E11.Space.HDTV.XviD-FQM is FINALLY out. Took them long enough!
