Streaming RWC games - Issues/Problems/Solutions

The Scottish version of ITV. Largely the same content and schedule as ITV but with Scottish news and sport shows instead of English stuff. It has it's own app, so if ITVX isn't playing ball for whatever reason, STV might. You'll get exactly the same rugby stream on it as ITVX but for the Scotland games you might get a Scottish based panel of pundits instead of the English ones.

Eish did we have fun before the game.
So Sabc+ is not really ideal as its only some games and the quality seems poor.
Itvx plus vpn I can only watch on pc, no app on tv and cant cast from pc and also not best quality.
Then we got a 7 day subscription for iptv to test.
Again no app on tv but went through browser on tv, but got a lot of buffering just before the game.
Then switched back to SABC+ that we used Friday and boom, sabc had crashed.
Then brought the Ematic tv box from the room which had the iptv app on and it streamed perfect and good quality the whole game.
The things we have to do to avoid been extorted by Monochoice.

LOL I still think dstv is cheap if you like sport. We just not into sport that much anymore. So paying R1600 for two months for basically maybe 10-12 games that we would actually watch is a bit much. Already have a F1tv sub.

RugbyPass TV + VPN worked on laptop no problem.

RugbyPass TV and VPN app installed on Android TV box no problem. Connected to VPN, but RugbyPass TV kept saying my username or password was incorrect even though they were not :cautious:

I love my sport but paying R700+ a month is ridiculous and too much for most people in this country.

Anybody got any ideas on how I can keep the display/picture quality consistant? Every game I watched would have a clear to slight "fuzzy" to clear again and repeat for the whole duration of the game. Im not a Techie at all, so please use small words.
