Im in a similar boat as you, so I decided to keep my Bakkie for longer trips and I got myself a VW Up for the day to day trips.Hi
I am looking at buying a new car and my budget is ~R200k. Ideally I'm looking for something that is lighter on fuel and for mostly urban driving however I may need to do a long distance trip every now and then so it should be able to go a little.
So far I've test driven the Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL, Hyundai Grand i10 1.25 and Ford Figo Trend. None of them have totally convinced me so looking for some advice/suggestions.
Coming from a VW Polo 1.6, I really like the build quality but the fuel consumption is not the greatest.
Thanks!
