I did not just give you a government website. This is why I have stopped bothering because you seem to be ignoring so many things I say.
 
but to entertain you I will say this

even though you just found out about the gini coefficient yesterday, it actually has been around for decades and it is a well known statistic, if you think people who make policy (especially in National Treasury) are not aware of the gini-coefficient (whether modified or not) and not using it in their decision making process, then you are extremely naive.

FYI - It is not their job, it is their duty.

The first duty of government is to protect the citizens of the country.
That protection includes a safe, secure, economically stable environment, in which all citizens irrespective of race , creed or colour have an equal opportunity to employment, education, safety and security so they may prosper and live.

Great, I'll let you explain to your kids why you didn't bother creating a safer future for them cause you decided to leave it up to a corrupt government and so, sorry kids, it was their duty, they failed, we knew they would, you're in the **** and I did **** all to make a difference or change that.

The Equality Court sitting in the Western Cape High Court will on Tuesday hear a hate speech case against Afrikaans songstress Sunette Bridges.

The SA Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has accused Bridges of hosting commentary on her Facebook page which constitutes hate speech.

The 43-year-old describes herself on her website as a mother of five, Afrikaner, artist, writer, and a "concerned citizen of the once prosperous country called South Africa".

The commission received complaints from the public about the alleged hate speech on the singer's Facebook page for a number of years. Spokesman Isaac Mangena said the court papers contained numerous examples of the "violent hate speech and racist" comments.

The SAHRC had approached Bridges, and she denied committing any offence. The commission would argue that Bridges had violated of sections 10(1) and 11 of the Equality Act.

CAPE TOWN - The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) says it is willing to settle a hate speech case against Afrikaans singer Sunette Bridges out of court.

The matter was heard in the Equality Court sitting in the Western Cape High Court yesterday.

The commission has accused Bridges of hosting commentary on her Facebook page that constitutes hate speech.

The commission says it wants Bridges to apologise and remove the comments.

The commission’s Bridgit Rubinstein says, “It is actually an established principle in our law that the publisher or the host of a Facebook page can be held liable for comments that are posted on a page if they aren’t contradicted or removed.”

But Bridges' lawyer Paul Kruger says his client has denied being guilty of hate speech.

“What the applicant in fact wants the Human Rights Commission, in our view, is impossible to do. I’m very glad that in fact the judge made the ruling that we have to have evidence in that regard.”

Personally,I don;t think celebs should take political stance on any issue. Amateur politicians,not that the pro's get any more respect from me. I hate politics.
