You don't have to be a politician. You just need to participate and put forth your views. No one's asking you to run the country, just to participate. Not necessarily on a national level either, but local, too. Things in your community/city also needs to happen with your input.

What a load of nonsense. We have a black government, AA and BEE. Racism has no bearing on the development of this country unless you think white people having wealth and jobs is racism. What this country needs is economic growth on a scale seen by the tiger economies in the latter half of the last century or India and China today. Those countries built and are building their economies with massive industrialisation driven by cheap labour. This country wants overnight transformation without putting in the work.

Actually, they do. Corruption is worst at the local level. And it's the coalface of service delivery. So many of the water/electricity/public services happen at a local level.

So I found out that this unit of measurement has got nothing to do with race, just basically poor vs rich. @saturnz told me to stop posting if I never heard of it, but seems saturnz don't know what it is used for... hmmm, or is @saturnz assuming that all poor folk are black?

When the decision is eventually made, it will be a political decision and no measurement tool will be used.
