Can't say that I'm surprised. The risks are just too great. Really sad for him though...

Bulls decide not to contract Cornal

Springbok Cornal Hendricks future is in the balance after the Vodacom Bulls decided not to contract him for this year’s Vodacom Super Rugby competition.
Hendricks was a surprise arrival at Loftus Versfeld before the start of the season as he looked to restart his career after it seemed to have ended in 2016 when he was diagnosed with a heart ailment.

The winger, who played for the Springbok Sevens side before moving up and donned the Green and Gold 12 times, has spent much of his time off coaching and helping youngsters through the foundation he started, and has given a lot back to his community.

But his dream was to get back onto the rugby field and to play again.

On Wednesday the Bulls confirmed that on medical advice they had decided not to contract Hendricks for the upcoming season.

I see that Bosch is starting at fullback for the Sharks and Benhard Janse van Rensburg will be playing flyhalf. Do any of you perhaps know who will be doing the place kicking between the two?

In my opinion most likely Bosch. Van Rensburg still needs to be blooded at this level.

I made my transfers for my fantasy team yesterday because for some stupid reason I thought the rugby is today. And I brought in Bosch to be my kicker. And since all my transfers have been used I have to either pick Bosch or Barret.

I have concluded, that this year nobody should listen to my opinion on rugby going by my SuperBru results.

My predictor is doing really crappy but I'm currently 9th in the world with the fantasy teams. It's such a shame that I went and messed it up now.

Bloody hell, what a comeback, again. 3rd game in a row where they're ~20 points behind and come back to get the win. Incredible stuff.

Forwards led the way in the second half, Whitelock and Romano in particular.

Almost did not pick the Crusaders this time because of their slow starts. Glad I did in the end.

No tries in the game, 16 minutes in. Amanaki doing what he does best, seems to be the only player 'engaging' Rebels player. Did well in the previous two devastations as well. He needs exposure in a better team.

I don’t know what is up with this Rebels side today, applying the pressure, retaining the ball… Just doing things right.

Unexpected half-time result. I guessed the Chiefs to have at least 3 scores over the Rebels.
