I don't have a problem with the yellow so much -those are the rules now. I have a bit of a problem with the kid staying down when there was clearly nothing wrong with him. I swear I'll quit watching rugby if it turns into the joke that soccer is.

I have seen bigger men go down for less. Neck injuries are common in rugby, it is likely that the player may had received a minor muscular strain or contusion. Easy for couch medics to make the, 'nothing wrong with him', ruling.

Good comeback from the Stormers. Kept composure and changed game plan which was very refreshing to see

Yeah, agreed...but you know when you watch soccer...and you can just "see" it?
He was up and running like nothing happened the minute that card came out. I'm not convinced.

Anyway...at least it's a win.

EDIT: Not particularly impressed with the stormers' performance either.

They returned well into the game. The kicking got to me though, but the change in game plan did pan out in the end. Juggling combinations, still risky.

Some of the new guys in the Stormers line up are impressing, Leyds and the midfielder are looking good.

I understand your perspective from milking it, but from my experience if you feel uncomfortable, even a little bit, after going down in physical contact stay down until you are cleared or else you may worsen a possible injury. The same with forcing a player for a concussion test, a player don’t know the condition of the impact.

I’m only excusing the player here for the tackle being above the shoulders. Most injuries occur during training and second-halves of play. A human body is fragile.

But yah, I’ve seen milking in rugby.

Poor game from both teams, especially from the Lions. Previous game was more exciting by the Stormers

Let's hope the Sarkies and the Cheaters can bring some excitement to the game.

Two hilarious yellows. Need to train as 14s cause yellows are handed to everybody and their uncle :crylaugh:
