Super Rugby 2019

If the Sunwolves can continue like this for the next 3 games they will be in a good place. Jamie Joseph and the Sunwolves head coach, Tony Brown, with the entirely of their RWC player base will return to inject the Sunwolves squad with fresh and trained players. They need the continuety. I also heard they will sign Amanaki Mafi as soon as the case against him is settled.

This is going to stuff up everyone's Superbru for sure but if you take a hard and honest look at the Chiefs so far this season, you should be able to see it coming?? But we see Retallick and Damien and we think, 'nah, Wolves can't win this'. WRONG!!

Yup. Even if these two teams were playing again next week, I'd still back the Chiefs.

Yeah, wtf. Didn't see this coming.
Foreign Legion who had a off-season mostly definitely helps the franchise. Not to mention that the entirety of their coaching team are Highlanders now, many who have worked with most players in this team and within the Top League. This isn't random available foreigners, most of them are active Top League players. They knew who they are signing and what they wanted and expected from them.

Without Whiteley the Lions are suffering from serious memory problems. They're forgetting 1. Everything they've learned about rugby in past three years, and 2. To play as a team.

Bulls are back, it seems.

Agree

Whiteley's not the best player, but he's an outstanding captain. Along with Ackers, the institutional memory at the Lions seems to be gone. For us supporters who loyally stuck with them through the lean years to relegation and derision and then the Great Comeback, it's a painful blow ... this was meant to be Our Year.

In a spasm of mourning I've resolved not to shave for the rest of the season or until the Lions win two in a row, whichever comes first.

Stormers again not in their Marvel outfit.
The Stormers have officially complained about the outfit, said it created confusion last week against the Lions which I do understand, but it is now also their final decision by the looks of it. Though I don't know how either of their kits, home and Marvel, except for their own away kit can clash with the Sharks kit.

Lol Kolisi. You can't slam the ground in frustration after not scoring and then ask the ref to look into whether you scored

Fortunately for the Sharks, Marais seems to have left his GPS in Cape Town...

Harsh yellow but I think it's a sign that Peyper is fed up with the Sharks' indiscipline. Not sure why they're so awful this week compared to last...

What a godawful half of rugby. Sharks discipline shocking and Stormers couldn't do jack with ball in hand (even with a numerical advantage). 16 Bok players (10 for the Sharks, 6 for the Stormers) in the two starting XV's and that's the quality they produce. Sad sad sad...
