Supersonic (MTN) AirFibre

Hi everyone, I noticed that Supersonic's coverage map now shows AirFibre coverage and if your area is covered, it looks like it allows for one to apply. My area is unfortunately not covered

Their prices seems to be really competitive (especially compared to Vumatel) vs fibre - I am also not seeing any installation cost? Not sure if they have?

Anyone tried to apply and test their uncapped service to see how it compares?

Can't seem to see any air fibre for cape town, hoping to get it if my area will be covered. Area is perfect for air fibre as the tower in the area is in good location to cover the area and is a pretty new tower.

Quick glance at Durban and it doesn't seem to be available anywhere there too. ATM

I see the article they rolling out in JHB first, hopefully we second also noticed they started where most of the areas dont have fibre coverage which is a smart move.

Thats a good sign, where rain rolsl out 5g where there is fibre coverage in cpt

Hopefully air fibre is being rolled out the same way as they do in jhb

Rain really missed the mark with their 5G, i was hoping to sign up for it but coverage stops 2 streets away from me.

Anyone installed AirFibre that can share speedtest results? Would love to see how it performs as well as latency.

Yeah I'm hoping they roll out over my parent's area. They currently have no fibre and there doesn't seem to be any plans to get fibre anytime soon. They are on Telkom's LTE Uncapped, but that's quite expensive now-a-days compared to fibre.

They are busy installing fibre to the towers this side... hopefully soon enough I'll have coverage in Lichtenburg.
