SuperSport-Mweb streaming conspiracy?

Well obviously the mweb users aren't complaining, they've been throttled and can't even go online to complain.
 
Supersports streaming sucks big time! Half the time its just buffering. I find a overseas site to stream the rugby and it works fine ..... explain that supersport... Pathetic
 
Dead here once again. This is a common occurrence with these morons. Yet they so brazenly lie about it. To a tech news service.

They are down atm. I get this message when trying to stream: "The service is unavailable".
I think the demand is just too high right now and if we needed any proof that the issue is on the side Supersport/DSTV/Multichoice, this is it.
Just don't expect a "sorry, we lied to you, it was us all along" apology from them.

what site are you using. was trying to use sportsdevil on xmbc and it is not working. please share the site or pm me plz
 
Sportsdevil does work on xbmc. I even found the currie cup on there...
 
And they state that they've had no downtime, yet earlier this week and last I had countless issues identical to what just happened. Chrome says "waiting for available socket" site says "service not available" or chrome says "no data received".

And it happens every weekend, without fail. And with every big match...

tried a few and they were all dead. there is 3 providers and they all giving me the same issue but stuff like snooker and tennis was working fine
 
Somebody turned it off and on again in Randburg. Streaming is back up but I've seen 8-bit Nintendo games with better visuals. I told Mrs 44 she can watch Greys Anatomy on the big TV, so if this stream drops for the FS-Sharks game, I'm gonna be pissed.
 
It probably will. Or they realised that the article had been published and knew that the tech community's eyes would be on them. So they quickly pulled a temporary solution to make do for today. Required a system restart.

That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. I do not believe a word that comes from them...
 
Trying to stream the Sharks game. I get this:

Finally get the stream up. All other streams working fine. Sharks buffering. Fsck this...
 
Finally working properly. Just in time to watch the cheetahs score. Crap...
 
Working properly on this side as well since kick off. Quality is ok and no buffering thus far. Got to see Cheetahs score in without buffering. Yeah...

They still get their money : you have to be a premium subscriber to stream Supersport.
