Yeah like I said it’s been levelling out in recent years.
Can you get auto complete of verification codes sent to your phone in a desktop browser yet?
As in if from SMS? Not really, you can access SMS from messages.google.com
About to go test the Windows Phone app, I don't have sync set up on new device since usually codes come from e-mail or I can see on watch while typing.
It’s just annoying how Apple apparently never have any firsts, when it’s all the little things that really make life easier that they get to first.
The magical automatic copy and paste between MacOS and iOS is exactly that sometimes.
Swype keyboard? What would the benefit of that be sync wise? I thought they sync the dictionary through Google already?
No, clipboard sync. Copy while having Swype keyboard active and then paste on windows. There is already a cloud/network sync for a while on Windows, just not tied to your phone.
EDIT: Set up phone companion app again, calls are finally passed through via BT, no quick copy option popping up for codes though, but can select in my message. Would rather use messages.google.com as easier, and don't really want the call pass through anymore since I finally got everyone on Telegram, so no use for it. But great for those who do want the sync.
AFAIK you can do remote control of the phone if it's a Samsung device, as in it will cast your screen to Windows.
Yup best way to go about it, just after you wake up.
Also much easier if you have a wireless bedside dock backed by a Quickcharger for all your things like phone and watch and headphones etc, instead of the finicky on wire crap.
Much prefer wires done right tbh, e.g. fitbit's one is pretty nice. Wireless charging is fine though, but waste of power imho. I would rather we had a dock type thing, so a stand you can slide your device on and the bottom pins connect for charging, would be nice on a night stand.
Wires are also nice if you want to use the device while it's charging, so good for phones, watch you don't really want to pick up and make a call so wireless charging is fine. I'd like more headsets to support qi charge, then be able to get a headset stand where I can forget about charging any headset that lasts a full day.
